Outnumbered
Am I wrong in thinking that we straight people are outnumbered and under-represented on television. Roughly 3.6 per cent of the Australian population are either gays, lesbians, LGBXYZ? or the gender confused, so why are they over-represented on television? At least 30 percent of programs depict gays or lesbians and others of dubious gender as the main characters, over every program genre.
You readers may ask why I’m writing an article on this fairly delicate subject? Because this is my blog and it’s the only venue where I can question the virtue signaling of the leftist media and get it across to people. If one dares to write a letter to the editor in a national newspaper it will never reach the printers. We must not upset the leftist minority in any way. And while I’m on the subject of letter writing, the leftist Sunday Mail won’t print just anyone’s letter, they have a list of pets who get exclusive billing every week. Woe betide anyone else who tries to have a letter published, about anything.
Now don’t get me wrong here, I have nothing against these people, we all like to live our own lives. Take gays for instance, they move in different circles (pardon the pun). But I am asking why they’re shoved down our throats every time we turn on the television?
